Design as an activity is considered fundamental to human beings. Its primary objective is to conceive and create environments that satisfies human needs and aspirations. As a field of study, it finds its roots in the practice of art and craft. It evolved over a period transforming knowledge from several disciplines into a field of study focused on solving problems by improving lifestyle of the mass. Users (people in specific and society at large) are at the center of designing (user -centered design).
